The Principal Suite is a personal, private and intimate space and always a significant consideration for both our clients and design team. As an extension of the personality of the owner, each project must reflect this uniqueness in order to be truly considered luxury.

The Principal Suite

In this instance, our male client lives alone and desired a masculine, warm space with refined details and finishes. Linear textures, fabrics and details offer structure, whilst the softer shapes of the sofa, armchair and headboard offer visual and physical comfort.

The suite exudes a sense of richness and quality, with the walkthrough arrangement of the connected Dressing Room evoking the aspirational luxury of a penthouse.

The introduction of a fireplace adds architectural definition, accentuates the prominence of the lounge area and offers further masculine character – all in a contemporary manner.

Rich timber, brushed brass and velvet combine to create a tactile, sophisticated suite.

The Bathroom maintains the dark timber finishes, but is brought to life through the application of bright, characterful Calacatta marble and an inlayed brass chevron pattern to the floor. Further depth is layered into the space with the added warmth of polished plaster walls and ceiling coffers.
